Holey moley!

Turns out someone was having a much worse start to the year than I was and felt the need to jump off the top level of southland onto the road today... It's kinda messed up to think that such events are happening all around you and most the time you never really know about it, apparently it's not the first time he tried as he got busted for it last week.
Well there you go.

2007 so far...

2007 is looking to be a good one so far...
01-01-07 - Morning spent recovering, unable to do anything untill about 4. Had dinner at Sarah's mums, things looking better so far.
02-01-07 - Wake up at 4 in the morning with stomach acids bubbling in my throat, have a massive power munt... Fall in and out of sleep about every half hour to munt some more. Wake up at 7 to drive Sarah to station, get home just in time to jump out of car and munt. Continue with munting and being unable to sleep untill late afternoon. Unable to eat for the rest of the day, body sore as all fuck and throat killing me.
03-01-07 - Call in to work sick as still feeling fucked up, manage to eat first lunch of 2007. Spend most of day looking forward to parmas!
Fanfriggintastic.

Well here is the first part of the boot install:

Keeps everything nice and neat and sure beats having and amp in the middle of the boot with wires going everywhere...

Sub goes in... Sound comes out...

Well used my JB voucher that Sam and Carey got for me to put towards a nice ol' 10" Pioneer sub! Couple that with a nice 800Watt amp and you get some awesome bass!
The sub in its enclosure whihc me and me dad made:

Next on the list is a nice install in the boot with the amps and hopefully I'll be making up a little cuboard to go in the boot as well for storing tools and such. Roof lining is a must also as it is sagging quite a bit now...

Sometimes you just dont have a subject and cant think of anything to put in there. I think you should be able to opt for wether or not you want a subject...
Well alot has been happening since my last entry. 5 million car break downs for one thing and alot of time spent looking at an engine going "well... fucked if I know." $500 later in sensors, hoses and gaskets she appears to be running again and better than ever. Much smoother drive. On that note the new VE looks fucking insane! One day, one day I will have one.
I now have one less toenail as my large toe nail has been ripped out by a doctor with a huge fucking needle and some prying tweezer things, the needle hurt like all hell but I couldn't feel the removal, I suppose thats what anesthetic is for really. So that sucks, I have a masive bandage deal on it right now and another holiday from work till monday, if things arent looking too great I'll have more holiday as well. Though I am getting kinda bored.
Well thats all I can be bothered with, maybe I'll do my tax now, or try to at least.
Car is still apparently stuffed as it chooses when it wants to start or not, this time its just a faulty fuel pressure regulator but god damn I just wan't it to be working!

Oh glorious Wednesday!

Well today has been pretty damn awesome so far, and it hasn't even reached six o'clock, (six o'clock for those who don't know marks the hour at which $5 parmas may be ordered.) Why is this you may or may not ask? So far I have been to Southland to claim my earnings and go to ticketek, upon arrival the ticketek computer had broken down so I had to wait an hour or so before going back to check if it was working again or not. Well while waiting I decided to head up to work and bum around there for a while and Ian and Steve had just gone on lunch, thank fuck no bordom! Ian also paid me for the amp I sold him which meant I had $100 extra which in turn meant JB would profit from this. Next thing I knew I was down at JB and had a sexy new pair of 10cm speakers in my hands to replace the already once replaced speakers in the dash. After this headed back to ticketek and WHAM! It was working! FULLY SICK MOIT! Another $50 later and I had also in my hands a ticket to the Staind acoustic session at the HIFI Bar on July 8th, BONANZA!
Came home to put the speakers in and what I thought should be a quick swap over turned out to be 30mins of fucking around, however the result was much greater than I anticipated providing me which much higher volume and clearer responce on the two freshly installed speakers, smile size=55.
In 2.5 hours it will be time for parmas!

The new speakers, not my actual ones but a pic of some:

Minor Changes...

Managed to build a custom parcel shelf the other weekend, made of mdf and covered in the most expensive 2mtr piece of carpet youll ever find, and aside from looking a shitload better has increased the bass response from the rear speakers so I'm pretty happy with that. Suprisingly, although it looks like a quick project, took pretty much all weekend to get the final product, but well worth the time. Also still need to finish the new door inserts, I've been covering the old ones with a grey vinyl and then dyeing them a darker shade of grey to match the rest of the interior. Once again time consuming but worth it.
New Parcel Shelf, got too excited as usual and forgot to take a before shot:

New Inserts:

Well I finally got my new wheels I've been waiting for for so long...
Before:

After:

Im fucken stoked however the car could deffinately do with a wash. Also the interior change has begun, at the moment it is mainly brown with grey areas and eventually will become black with more grey highlights, new seat too, probably gunna get me some Calais seats, the VR ones are nice but availability of this stuff is very low so I'll see how that goes.
Also WTF to Mysongbook and Copyright laws!

OH HELL YEAH!

Well I'll be jivered! The last week or so has been absolutely awesome. Starting with Friday I finished work at 4:00 having romped my warranty target and clearing my sales target for the month meaning the big Dick owes me $500+ in commissions for April and also a further $500+ commission from March which he tried to get out of paying me. Meaning the pay within the next two weeks will have my standard wage plus $1000+ in commission which after the taxman gets to it will be more like $600+, fuck you Mrs Howard, which isn't too bad as I can get most back at tax time!
Saturday I installed some new front speakers, it took us from 10:00am to 6:00pm to get to the final product, which is amazing sound in the front end. Just need to replace the amp I have with a 4 channel and I will have the rear speakers up and running also giving me a total of 6 speakers so far >:)...
Saturday night just got better as some would know as the night that KoRn once again graced our foreign shores and knocked those in attendance for 6 again... Drew I had no idea you were going, damn... I was in seating but it was still a damn awesome experience regardless. 4 extra members including; replacement guitarist, keyboardist/sampler, additional drummer witha bootload of huge toms and an additional singer who also had some massive tribal drums, gongs, chimes and whatnot. Even without the additional 4 the guys put on an awesome show and they are tight as, the parody was awesome excellent changes between sections of songs you had to be there to get the full idea of what I'm trying to explain. The best part about it though was that their usual setlist was totally disregarded, songs which they hardly ever play live were played, the opened with Its On to put it into perspective for those who know. NUTS NUTS NUTS SHOW! Also the sound of 30odd huge arse stobes all firing at once is crazy.
Today was pretty average except for getting the new TOOL cd! Its fucken nuts. Typical Tool styles with the mixed goodness of all new songs. Epic tracks are a standard feature again and the artwork is something special in itself, 3D pictures which you look at through special lenses built into the cover set the standard of artwork apart from all the rest, so much detail in the pictures too.
Well thats all for now.
Adios amigos, see you all at parmas.

New Wheel!

Well today is Wednesday and that means pay day, which also means I spend alot of money and have none left! Hooray! But all for a good cause as I finally got a new steering wheel!

Looks a heap better than the older on and feels awesome to drive with. Just went for a drive then and it started to piss down real hard, visibility was fucked, 40meters if that. Accidently fishtailed out of an intersection, fun but totally unexpected, must get some new wheels and better tyres before winter kicks in...
Parmas soon! Woooooo, see you all there.

Finally the day has come and attached to my ears right now is a set of headphones and out of them pumps the glory that is Lacuna Coils new album Karmacode! Fucking awesome, all your typical LC material but played in a much more agressive manner, who loves down tuning? I know I do! Feildy style bass in some songs too, fucken ey, but dont be put off by that all you KoRn haters have a listen and I think you will all enjoy thoroughly.
In other news I have no money... But I do have insurance with Just Car... That means I will not have alot of money for a long time as I have opened the doors to unlimeted modifications! Well I'll be jivered! Wednesday will see the introduction of a brand spankin new SAAS sports wheel added and the crappy granma wheel tossed aside for all eternity, can't wait. Some new locks will be added provided I have the funds this pay otherwise they will come next pay along with a fresh new set of front speakers and a new 4-channel amp. I also learned today that having a car lowered cost significantly less than I expected so that will be dont after the speakers. New kit and exhaust is planned in the not so distant future, cant wait till its finally complete, thats if I ever consider it complete. Time will tell.
Adios all.

So my greatest moment of 2005 was every wednesday night with my best mates and loved ones at the Tudor in eating the greatest parma in the world for only $5...
Goodbye 2005, hello 2006.
In 2006 I predict:
Great poker
More parmas
More love
More Ey Fellas
More music
More guitar
More great touring bands
More work
More driving
More car
Less bitching
MORE DRINKING
Less sleep
More cash
More of the things that make us all happy
Less fucking around

Well last time I posted I had just passed my hazzard perception test, hooray! However this time I have been for my practical test and I passed! Not only passed but received a score of %100, not one fuck-up made! Already driven by myself a couple of times and its such a wierd experience. So now we have one more Seedyvillian with a license, fuck yeah!
Also in other news I got my new guitar!

See!
One step closer...

Well just had my "hazzard perception" test and I passed! I must express though the stupidity of the test and that a computer game should never be an indication of ones ability to drive. I got %67, %11 more than required, hey not fantstic but obivously not shit either. My official drivers test is next Wednesday, fuck yeah! Hopefully I get it otherwise it will be a big waste of tie and money, $155 to be exact as that is what it cost to hire a fucking car for the test! WTF! I would take my own but I have been advised not to do so... Should book another lesson in so I can do some parking I suppose as I've only had the one lesson with that and since then have only done 90 degree parking which isnt on the test anyway... But soon both me and Ian will have our P's and will be hooning it up! Hell yeah!
In other news I have a new guitar on layby and I should be able to get it this Satdy provided that I get my commmisions through this week. Its an Ibanez semi hollow, AS83VLS, and it looks pretty damn spick.
Not alot else has changed I have a cold and two fucked feet, washed the car, had speaker shelves fianlly put in, ummm, the fish bowl needs its water changed but thats not my job, and according to VB "Talking Boony lives!"

Oh yeah has anyone heard of those riots? AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE! OI, OI, OI!

Well I'll be jivered, It's a Ho-Down!

Well at the moment I'm kinda stuck to the confines of my house but it's all for a good cause as I am having central locking and an immoboliser fitted in my car. However the cost is not fantastic, at $520 it had better be worth it. Once it's done though its another thing I can cross off my mental list of things to buy.
Called WOM just before to organise getting this guitar ordered in however Brett, the sales guy who I spoke with about this particular guitar, has gone on holidays for the next 2 weeks! So I'm going to have to go in on Monday and speak to one of the other guys who I also usually deal with and see if he can organise the same deal for me and order my newly planned addition to my family in.
In other news I stumbled across the new John-5 album while I was browsing through JB the other week and needless to say I bought it without thinking and once again he has created a hugely kick fuck album, more ho-down, more industrial, more blues, more JOHN-FREAKING-5! Also purchased was A Perfect Circles "Thirteenth Step," there is not one song on that album that I didn't like upon the first listen, heaps of mellow songs, one that has a Pink Floyd sound to it and one that sounds like it would be a cover of a Beatles song however I have been informed it is not indeed a cover of a Beatles song.
Parmas tonight, and boy am I looking forward to it!
In other thoughts does anyone know how to have a background picture on your LJ page??? HAAAAAA I figured it out myself!

Back again...

Well Optus proved their incompetence once again and as a result I was netless for a week and because of this missed out on international talk like a pirate day! I now have a new found hatred towards optus and the clowns that run their little circus where ever it is they are operating from, india, afghanistan wherevever... Fucken cunts!! However I did get broadband as a result so I'm not at a complete loss.
In other news I got the Mushroomhead dvd and it's fucking awesome, some funny shit on there and it's just really interesting to see who the band is under the masks. Only problem was it was $40! Most expensive dvd I've ever brought. Also got the new Staind album which is just an amazing mix of all their styles they have ever covered so it is just up and down and all over the shop, quite different from the format of any of their older albums.
Also, for anyone who didn't know, me and Sarah (Sass) are officially going out, so you can imagine I'm very happy with all that is happening in regards to us. The distance is a killer, it took me 1 and a half hours to get there the other night! Well worth the trip though. That and we can't just see each other whenever because of the distance and work/uni. Just gives me something to look forward to at the end of the week, can't wait till x-mas holidays!
What else has been happening? Well work has ataken a turn for the worse and it's getting to the stage where I can't stand being there anymore. I can't be bothered going into it all though.
Oh and mine and Careys pedals may be lost in the mail... OH great! Fucking postal services! But if they are the guy will replace them for us, so it kinda makes up for it except I havn't had distortion for a long time now and I have massive cravings for it.
Weekend off this week! Grand final! Ummm dunno what else to thatll be all from me.

Nearly there...

Well not long to go now, only a few hours or so, hooray! (Yes/no..., we'll see.) Anyways got me birthday present from me parents, tinted windows, which looks fucking awesome, so I'm absolutely rapped with that. One less thing I have to pay for to be done to it now. Went looking at amps and subbies before and found that they're a pretty pricey system to set up, so for the mean time I think ill go for an amp that will just power the rear speakers which should give them a fair bit more power and clean up their tone. Im hoping it will help to add a cleaner low end to it.
Put me digital camera on lay-by yesterday, it dropped $110 in price so I snapped that up quick smart. I'll probably pay that off tomorrow, fuck around with that for a bit then head up to the tudor for drinkin! Hopefully i'll get at least a few people down there. If not i'll see them on Saturday for rockhouse and DV8, CAUSE YOU ALL LOVE DV8 SO MUCH AND WANNA MAKE LOVE TO IT ESPECIALLY TOMO AND IAN!
Hmm what else, oh yeah got the new Fear Factory cd and its fucking awesome, the more I listen the more I love it, has a such a broad range of your "fear factory styles" in it. I may have already noted this somewhere though?
Well thats it for now ey fellas?

Not so sure....

Looking at things now I'm not so sure about everything that I thought that was and all that was considered possible. Maybe its the fact that right now I'm feeling a little down, or that its almost 2:30am on a sunday morning when I have work in less than 8 hours, or maybe its that I've had too much to drink. I some how think its a combination of all but there aint alot I can do about it at this stage...
Right now I sit here and think about how it would feel to be, well to put it bluntly, not alone? I sip my pepsi in a hope of not being hung over the next monring and enjoy the fellow company that is System Of A Down at this very moment but feel a massive void inside my mind, heart, and soul. Its been too long since I felt compassion and filled up that empty section of my life that I wish was never emptied and never to remain empty at any stage, yet still does and remains an extremely pre-occupying part of my life. Right now I feel like yes I'm some what having a whinge about where I stand in the currnet stage of my life, but also feel that I need to express myself in order to maintain peace within my own mind due to the thought that maybe someone out there gives one flying fuck and or understands where exactly I'm coming from. I ask not for sympaphy, but for those who may read this to possibly spare a moment to realise that I am not all that I seem on the outside, the happy go lucky always drunk guy...
Tonight I spent far too much, but all the same I don't care, I had an alright time and experienced a totally different culture of life, one which I didn't agree with but found it extremely funny to whitness all the same and just simply sit back with my forced upon me expensive beer and observe the actions of those around me. Learnt also to trust your instincts in terms of who you beleive in and those whom you could never trust. Golden rule of thumb: if you dont think you can trust them as far as you can kick them, most likely you are %100 correct in your assumptions.
But in the end, no matter how much I try to distract my mind from the thoughts that have over taken my mind for the past week or so, I find myself in the same position again and feel like I have failed myslef in not acheiving anything to rectify the problem and feel like I have drained myself for being so stupid in chasing something that was what seems was never meant to be a reality in my life, and something so far out of reach. Drained, tired and depressed once again, but funilly enough one would think they were correct in assuming that at this stage I would be giving up on those thoughts? But welcome to my world. Nothing seems to make sence in my mind and I will continually chase dreams untill the stage I tear myself to shreds and still not acknowledge what I am doing to myself. Sure I can look at it now and any other time and see that I should give up on these dreams, but the outcome seems far too rewarding.
Maybe If I could express my true feelings about what is all happening at this stage it would all make sence, and maybe even help the senario, all the same I worry that I will only embarass myself and absolutely destroy any future possibilities that I may or may not have, and once again fall into the trap of fearing that of which I want to fulfill my dreams.
To put it into perspective I feel like I am trapped inside a very small room in which the walls are closing in on me, and all I can think about is those walls and the possibility of freedom on the outside knowing very well that the likely occurance of freedom at this very stage is extremely slim. I dun=no, its hard to put into words exactly what is going through my mind and how I feel, but that somewhat scratches the surface...
Ive gotten so tangled up in my own world that I've forgotten where reality ends and begins.

Tick-Tock...

Well it came to my attention the other day that one of my fears appears to be becoming a reality. The last thing I wanted this year was to be single on my Bday which at this stage appears to be innevitable. Great... Also it would seem out of the Seedies I am one of the very few single people left, its so very fucked that one this is happening all over again and two I have to worry about such shit. Ive got no one to blame but myself I guess. But who knows what lingers around the corner? Surprises are in short supply as of recently but as I said, expect the unexpected...
Ive dont alot of updating as of recently huh?
